Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
FieldLoop ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect through fieldloop.au and our conversations with trades businesses, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name, business name, email address and phone number, when you join our waitlist or fill in our survey.
- Information about your business — your trade, team size, the tools you use, and your answers to our survey questions about job cards, timesheets and invoicing.
- Conversations with our team — if you talk with one of our team in person, they may record your answers to the same survey questions, with your agreement. We keep the answers only; we don't keep recordings or transcripts of the conversation.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- contact you about FieldLoop, your survey answers or the waitlist, where you've agreed to that;
- understand what trades businesses need, so we build the right product;
- offer you a trial if you've asked for one.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the website, store submissions and send email (for example our website host, our workflow and database platform, and our email provider). They handle your information only so we can operate FieldLoop. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We don't otherwise disclose your information unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while they're useful for the purposes above, and delete them when they're no longer needed or when you ask us to.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing hello@fieldloop.au.
Questions or complaints
Email hello@fieldloop.au and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
